Important Days in History
(My History, Anyway)
August 20, 1964 — I was born in Bar Harbor, ME. I already regret telling you what year.
September 22, 1976 — Charlie's Angels premieres on ABC and becomes my childhood obsession. It will have a profound effect on me through out my writing career. Read Fingerprints & Facelifts and see for yourself.
April 24, 1981 — I appear in my high school production of Agatha Christie's Ten Little Indians playing Dr. Armstrong. My love of mysteries is born.
February 4, 1989 — The first script I ever wrote for television (with Family Guy producer David A. Goodman), “The Impotence of Being Ernest”, an episode of The Golden Girls, airs on NBC.
February 17, 1995 — My first feature film The Brady Bunch Movie (co-written with My Girl screenwriter and close friend Laurice Elehwany) is released nationwide and becomes the number one movie at the Box Office for the weekend. I'm thrilled beyond words.
November 3, 2003 — My first book The Actor's Guide to Murder is released. I think it's going to be a huge best seller. I'm quickly proven wrong.
June 26, 2007 — Fingerprints & Facelifts is released in bookstores nationwide.
July 1, 2009 — Fingerprints & Facelifts is finally released in paperback. I'm hoping a television adaptation of the book will lead to more titles in the series.
March 29, 2010 — Celebrity Zombie Killers, my first graphic novel, is released in soft cover and available at bookstores nationwide and on Amazon.com for $12.95.
March 2012 - Death of a Kitchen Diva, the first in a new mystery novel series featuring intrepid food and spirits columnist Hayley Powell is available in paperback and as a digital download.
November 2012 - Death of a Country Fried Redneck, the second Hayley Powell mystery, is available in paperback and as a digital download.
Available Now
All of my published works The Actor's Guide to Murder, The Actor's Guide to Adultery, The Actor's Guide to Greed, Fingerprints & Facelifts and Celebrity Zombie Killers are available at Amazon.com.
Femme Fatales is currently airing on Cinemax and available for free to subscribers at Cinemax On Demand. It will soon be available to watch on your iPhone and iPad by downloading the MaxGo app from iTunes.
Episodes of Team Knight Rider, a cheesy, low budget action series, a sequel to the David Hasselhoff '80s hit, that unfortunately I created and executive produced can be watched at Hulu.com or purchased at iTunes or the Amazon Digital Store. Check out seven episodes in particular: "Sky One," "Apocalypse Maybe," "Et Du Dante?" "Angels in Chains," "The Blonde Woman," "The Return of Megaman" and "Out of the Past". In those shows, I play Clayton, the demanding diva of a chef who cooks on board a giant transport plane that carries the heroes and their talking cars to trouble spots around the world. Yes, it's as bad as it sounds, but was a hoot to make.
Coming Soon
In addition to three original paperback novels featuring a sleuthing single mom and gourmet cook Hayley Powell, I am jumping into the E-book game with a new Jarrod Jarvis novel set in the fast disappearing world of soap operas as well as a new entry in the L.A. Dolls series (hopefully coinciding with the TV movie version) I'm calling Handguns and Highlights.
